The Big Apple Film Festival, a week to showcase the independent film community, is a New York City event not to be missed. The festival will be held in the famous Midtown Tribeca Cinemas on November 1-6.
The well-received Big Apple Film Festival celebrates its 8th year in New York City's famous Tribeca Cinemas. The nationally acclaimed festival will be held November 1-6 in Tribeca's Midtown area. The event will showcase the city's independent film community, and select films from around the nation and around the world to feature as part of the program.
The festival also features New York City-based filmmakers, writers, actors and artists who have inspired or influenced the city's growth of independent filmmaking. Awards are presented to Best Feature Film, Short Film, Documentary, Animation, Experimental, NYC cityscape Award, Student Film Award, Golden Apple Award and NY Emerging Talent Award.
