The well-received Big Apple Film Festival celebrates its 8th year in New York City's famous Tribeca Cinemas. The nationally acclaimed festival will be held November 1-6 in Tribeca's Midtown area. The event will showcase the city's independent film community, and select films from around the nation and around the world to feature as part of the program.

The festival also features New York City-based filmmakers, writers, actors and artists who have inspired or influenced the city's growth of independent filmmaking.
