Throughout the year, many New Yorkers prepare for what seems to be one the wildest and brightest holiday celebrations in the area. Over 50,000 people attend the Village Halloween Parade each year, and anyone in costume is eligible to join the hundreds of puppets, over 50 different bands, dancers, artists, and more on a parade of color and creativity through New York. The parade is held on October 31 every year, and begins at 7, usually lasting until 10. The plethora of participants keeps the parade going for multiple hours.

Be creative! At the Village Halloween Parade everyone is on the lookout for the most creative costume during the parade down 6th Avenue.
